So i got up early, slapped on another coat of ‘champagne cabinet make-over’ on the kitchen doors, went out to see a great play at the Soho theatre (Headcase, starring my Irish friend Clare doing a splendid turn as an ‘eejit’), and on my way home came across a dirty great massive picture of myself in the tube!! Made me piss myself. Not literally of course.
I just did a phone interview with beat 106, a scottish radio show, which was most amusing. Paul & Fraser thought that all girls with guitars were vegetarian and i only saved myself by ingesting fish on a regular basis. I also won carnivorous points by supporting their ‘Haggis Flavoured Crisps’ campaign. They’re presenting a petition to Walkers and they might be real crisps! I managed to squeeze in a ‘they’re offal’ gag which i was rather proud of.
If you haven’t seen the Robert Altman film ‘Five Easy Pieces’ with Jack Nicholson, and you like said men, I’d highly recommend it. Beauty. I’m about to watch a video a friend gave me of a programme which suggested that Darwin’s evolutionary theory doesn’t make sense because too many things have the same eye structure for it all to be a co-incedence. Breathe. Imagine if it was all wrong. And world IS flat.
Think the cabinets are ready for another dose of Carol Smilie. x
