    Thankyou!! Wed, June 25th 2008

    Hey Ya! (clap clap clap)

Hope youre all happily covered in summer.
Thanks so much for the brilliant prezzies – i particularly liked my Elephant Corridor and have never seen a 33yr old whisky in my life so major props on that one! I’ll be checking out your book and cd very soon.

Thanks also to those of you who have made the shows – we’ve had a wicked run of festivals and outdoor gigs since we got back from the the acoustic US tour. The FSC gigs in the middle of forests in Thetford and Delamere have to be among my favourite ever shows. Never in my life have I felt such a good vibe right to the back of a crowd of 6,000 people. Proper!! Must be them trees…and that there moon…

Really enjoyed the Police support at Stormont Castle too, the crowd were great – I haven’t ever done any supports slots until this year (bar those few early Joss Stone gigs I did solo which were great) and at both the Sheryl Crow gig in Toronto and the Police show the other day I was really touched by the wicked response at the end of our set. Sting very graciously came to say hello after we played and we were all well impressed that he had buns to rival Arnie. Them there are some buns I’m telling you.

On the Isle of Man now and chilling out with a sea view before our gig tonight. Niiiiiice! I think some pre-gig fish and chips will most definitely be in order. And you know what’s next…
    FastoGlastoBlasto!!
I’ve managed to get the bus on-site a night early as I’m getting blue at never having time to hang out at festivals we play at. Early afternoon gig on the friday, forecast is good, then the bus isn’s allowed to leave til 3am – BLISS!

Seen Gone Baby Gone yet? Casey Affleck is my new John Cusack. Aces high he is.

Lucky Luke got me the most beautiful vintage record player for my birthday along with the best first record collection ever…all the best blues; Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, Big Mama Thornton, and also got some Kinks, Betty Davis (amazing sleeve), Eddie Cochran, an old Dance Hall record…I love it! Never want to listen to newfangled pods and stereos ever again!! I’ll be rockin’ the old Dansette stylus on our travels fo sho.

Right, I might have those fish and chips now, I’m bloody starving.
    Aw ra best,
    KT x
